Rottweiler

The Rottweiler is an ancient breed, believed to have descended from drover dogs used by the Roman Empire.

They were bred to herd cattle and guard their owners' property. Over time, they developed into a powerful and loyal breed, known for their strength and intelligence.

In the 19th century, Rottweilers were used as police dogs in Germany, and later became popular family pets.

Today, Rottweilers are still valued for their protective nature and strong work ethic. They make excellent guard dogs, but also thrive in loving homes as devoted companions.

With proper training and socialization, Rottweilers can be gentle and affectionate family members. They are highly intelligent and eager to please, making them easy to train.
