Utility Dog Breeds

Utility, or Non-Sporting, dogs were bred for a range of jobs not included in the sporting and working groups. They are made up of a diverse group of breeds with varying sizes, coats, personalities, and appearances.

From the sturdy Chow Chow, to the compact French Bulldog and the foxlike Keeshond, the differences in features can be vast so it is hard to generalize about this group of dogs.

Most are good watchdogs and house dogs, but generalizations beyond this are very hard to make
