Laekenois

The Laekenois is a rare Belgian herding dog breed that dates back to the late 19th century.

Originating in the city of Laeken, near Brussels, this breed was used to herd sheep and guard farms.

The Laekenois is an intelligent, loyal, and protective breed. They are known for their unique rough coat, which is wiry and fawn-colored.

This breed was almost wiped out during World War I, but was revived in the 1920s by a few dedicated breeders.

Today, the Laekenois is still relatively rare, but is gaining popularity due to its intelligence and loyalty. They make excellent family pets and are great with children.

The Laekenois is a hardworking and devoted breed that will do anything to protect their family. They require regular exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy.
