Borzoi
Bred by Russian nobility in the 17th century, the Borzoi was used to hunt wolves and other large game. Its long, silky coat and powerful build enabled it to keep up with the swiftest of prey.
The Borzoi's popularity spread throughout Europe, and eventually to the United States. Today, the breed is still prized for its speed and agility, as well as its loyal and gentle nature.
With its regal bearing and dignified air, the Borzoi is a beautiful and noble companion. Its long, flowing coat requires regular grooming, but its intelligence and loyalty make it a rewarding pet.
