DOGS SEE IN SLOW MOTION
Source: Daily Mail
Researchers at the School of Natural Sciences, Trinity College Dublin and the Universities of Edinburgh and St. Andrews have discovered that dogs perceive information 25% faster than humans. The perception of speed is affected by how fast an animal’s nervous system processes information in order to react to its environment. This study shows that different animals experience time in different ways. As stated in the Daily Mail, researchers found that “a creature’s body mass and metabolic rate dictates how they experience the passing of time. This means that a mouse experiences the world and time very different than an elephant”.
