Pitt Bull Flower Power

Sophie Gamand is a French photographer based in the US who decided to challenge the way people see Pitt Bulls. The photographer has admitted herself she used to biased against Pit Bulls, but after spending time with this breed she started to discover their sweet nature. ” I decided to confront my apprehensions and explore their soft side in a visual way” – stated Sophie.

Sophie photographed Pitt Bulls from three different New York shelters – Sean Casey Animal Rescue, Second Chance Rescue and Animal Haven – all wearing beautiful flowery head pieces, and the results are…well…very sweet and pretty! Do these dogs still look menacing to you?
