A litter of the world’s rarest puppies have been born!

A Brighton dog owner has been the first in Europe to breed a litter of the very rare Phu Quoc Ridgeback puppies – worth around £10,000 each!

Catherine Lane imported two of the Phu Quoc breed after falling in love with them whilst in Vietnam – making her the first owner of the breed in Europe. She said ‘While holidaying in Vietnam I fell head over heels in love with this beautiful, unusual breed. After months of searching I finally found two perfect dogs that I imported to the UK. Moon and Sirius are now Europe’s only Phu Quoc Ridgebacks, and receive non-stop attention and admiration everywhere they go.’

The puppies, 4 of only 800 of the breed in the world, will be ready to go to their forever homes in 2 weeks time. 3 of the gorgeous pups have been snapped up by international buyers, with Catherine hoping the remaining dog will go to a British buyer.

The exclusive Phu Quoc Ridgeback are known to be highly intelligent and easy to train with low maintenance grooming.

If you’d like to see more of these gorgeous pups, Catherine has set up a 24 hour live feed of the puppies which you can view HERE.
